Our breakfast today was a bit different. We usually eat healthy, but having this amazing Chocolate pie with chopped almonds and some extra cocoa on top, made us all to grab a bite.
I made this chocolate pie for the first time yesterday and I did not allow any touch until it was properly photographed. So… you may guess what happened after the photoshoot this morning.
It is a super easy pie, really quick to make, just look into the recipe`s steps to find out.
You will need:
200 gr. good quality chocolate
20 gr. cocoa
230 gr. brown sugar
180 gr. butter -at room temperature
4 eggs -at room temperature
50 gr. milk
150 gr. chopped almonds
* Preheat the oven at 170* C. Cover a baking pan with butter and on top add some cocoa. In a small pot, in low heat, warm the milk, the butter, the chocolate and cocoa. When the butter is melted, take it out of the heat and let it rest.
Add in the mixer the sugar and the eggs and when ready, add the warm chocolate mixture. Mix well for a coupple of minutes until it is homogenised and lastly, add the almonds. Stir well with a spatula and put it in the pan.
Bake for 35 minutes.
